Everybody agrees that if eligible you should vote in the upcoming presidential election this November 5. However, many don’t realize what is at stake during this election. A singular vote could change the results of the presidential election. A singular vote could impact women's freedom to control their own bodies. A singular vote could change the entire future of our county.

Donald Trump prides himself for nominating three supreme court justices that overturned Roe V. Wade, which protected abortion rights under federal law. Trump claims he won’t sign a nationwide ban on abortion, but leaving this issue up to the states isn't any better. Now, abortion is illegal in 13 states to which women don’t receive the right to control their own bodies.

Kamala Harris has repeatedly said that if a bill that restores women’s reproductive freedom on a federal level is passed through Congress, she would proudly sign it into law. She actively supports the restoration of Roe V. Wade. Moreover, she believes that it's a fundamental right for women to be able to make their own choices about their own bodies.

Everyone has different reasons to vote for their preferred presidential elect; however, when you go to your polling place this Tuesday, take into consideration what abortion rights will look like under each presidential candidate.
