In today's society, when you look in the news its filled with the hard hitting topics, riddled with everyday misogyny. Although its necessary to recognize these prejudices, it's nice to take a breather and to look at news that is more optimistic and supportive of women. We don't often see 'good news', but it's essential for women of all ages to see stories that paint women in a positive light because women are what make the world a better place. As high school girls ourselves, we want to empower women and give them the recognition they deserve by sharing positive news on this blog.
